ey im wonderin if anyone knows about this problem. i got a 92 f150 efi 351w 3"body 6"suspension, d44f 8.8r e4od trans. reg cab. and the problem is that when i try to take it down to 4lo it wont go, it says it does on the dash,(4x4 selector is on the dash) but when i accelerate or reverse. NOTHING. its like im in neutral just reving. and when i take it out and go to 4hi, it makes a grinding noise like it is barely missing the gears, am i putting it in right? i gotta have the 4hi on before i push the 4lo on.otherwise it wont go.

you have to have your truck in neutral BEFORE you try to engage it in 4LO
