Default 86 f250 rear ends swap.

Im looking for information about swaping my dana 60 rear end out for a GM corp.14 bolt. I think it should just be spring perchs and the yoke and some other minor things other then gears.. Has anyone done this on a 86 f250 or that gen f250
Im also gonna swap the dana 50 I beam front rear end and id like the use the front out of a 99-early 03 super duty. But I cant not find any info on that either..

Why would you want to? You have pretty rugged difs now, if they're good and don't need anything why not just keep them and spend your money wisely.

Its for my pull truck weight for 1. And ive broke an axle shaft this summer. And id like to switch the front because the I beam is junk and I cant get the right traction. Plus I cant find a locker spool or anythng for it

You can't put a locker-spool in your front end. Well... you could but you wouldn't be able to really turn or anything.

They're not called rear-ends they're called differentials. And finally, breaking your axle was probably more due to wear and abuse then anything. No straight axle truck is going to get amazing traction on road or even off road in some situations but it's much tougher and really the only option you have.

You have two rugged differentials, put a posi-track unit in the rear and rebuild your front as well. You won't be able to spool your front and you won't want to spool your rear. Ever have a welded rear end? A spool is the same thing basically. You want a posi unit out back and if you really have the bucks, a air or electronic locker up front so you can control when you need it to lock because it can't be locked all the time.
