6" rough country question
I have an 08 FX4 with the rancho quicklift setup and just ordered a 6 inch lift kit. Can I keep these struts or do I need to go back to factory length, I just thought about these being longer of course after buying the kit.
It's not like they are that much longer when you look at the specs but i thought I would ask after doing some looking and not finding any answers.
Thanks in advance

Thanks for the reply. My truck sits nuts on level now and from what I can tell the six inch makes a truck level with a 6 inch in front and 5 in the rear or so i read online. So with a 1 inch AAL i should be good unless someone knows something different about the rough country 6 and how the truck sits once installed. Also with the AAL whats the difference in a short and long leaf? Any recommendations there?

A short add a leaf will have more arch to it and will give you a slightly rougher ride. A long leaf has a bit less arch and a bit softer ride. For me personally it don't matter as my truck spends so much time off road is a rough ride anyhow. Either way you go it will help eliminate axle wrap add height and somewhere between 700 to 900lb payload capacity.
