If you're contemplating 6 or 8 then go 8.. I went 4 and i want 8 now.. BDS has great kits..

Only bad thing.. If you live in the city or go into the city much those a**hole* like to mark there garages with signs that say 8" and ends up being like 6.. Other than that.. Definitely 8

BDS is good to go, their warranty is excellent from what i've heard. I know what you mean man, I have a 2in Leveling Kit and want to go 4in, then I know I will want to go 6in... I think i want to go 6in next, BDS's 6in Lift is only like a couple hundred bucks more than the 4in. I know if I go 6in I will get 35s and then there goes my power...

Rize Industries makes 8" kit and it will clear 37's I know the kits are in stock for your year truck. The kit looks bad *** too. It will be a little more expensive, but if park it next to a BDS kit you will see the difference in parts and materials. The kit is heavier more stronger and aesthetically pleasing to the eyes too. The 8" kit from BDS is a 6" kit with coilovers not a true 8".
The Rize kit is actually measures out to almost 9" and if you add coilovers to the kit you can get another 2" of lift if need be like if you wanted to run 40's down the road one day . in the end it comes down to how much you open up your wallet.
A Full Rize kit will run you about 4k with rear blocks an shocks .. if you want to add rear traction bars that will be another 1300.00 these are not needed for the kit just another accessory to add to the kit if you want. If you want to coilovers and the price goes up.
The 8" BDS kit will be about 2800 for a full kit with coilovers.
A Zone off road kit will run about 1700 plus the spacers and more than likely if you want to add a leaf in the rear to level out the truck or if you like that Cali rake you can leave it. Adding a leaf in the rear is also going to add a couple hindered bucks to the cost of any of the kit's mentioned above.

Coming from somebody thats had lifted trucks my entire life go with the biggest kit you can afford and get away with without affecting your daily driving and parking. You will ALWAYS want to go bigger. Its crazy how such a large lifted truck can seam small after a few weeks.

Yeah no ****. I went to the mall a few years ago on Chirstmas Eve for some last minute shopping and since no other spots were open i had to park into the parking garage. Got about 100yards into the garage and i see a beam that i wasnt going to fit under. Long story short took me an hour to back out the damn garage.
