4x4 not engaging!
Hello,
I'm new to the forum. Thank's for having me. I have a 2003 f150 manual trans, 4.6L, 4X on the floor. About a year ago, I swamped my truck pretty bad, and have not been able to engage 4 wheel drive ever since. I changed all the fluids immediately after I got it out. When I put the Shifter into 4 wheel drive, the front drive shaft engages. I was able to get the front tires moving by shifting the diaphram on the front of the transfer case over manually, but have not been able to anylonger. My thought is that I have a vaccum. Anyone have any ideas? I love my truck, and want to continue to build on it, but it's pointless without 4X4.
Thank you!

It's been contaminated in the flood. Need to take it apart and clean it up, starting with the vacuum.
