Ford dealership in North Vancouver said if I get the work done through them my warranty won't be void. I haven't started the process yet but I am sure they are not lying. In terms of height - what size is your tire ( not the wheel) right now? If you are running 31s then with 35s + 6 inch you are lookin at additional 8 inches.
With minor fender trimming 4 inch lift can support 35s.

I have done many mods on my 2012 HD and have been dreading my first trip to the dealership for scheduled maintenance.
I have a rancho 2" quick lift and it fits a 35" tire, slight mod to front fender and its good to go! No issues what so ever.

I just installed a 6 inch lift on my 2wd today, which should be at the same height as a 4" on a 4wd. It's on the stock rims and 33" tires at the moment until my new wheels and tires come in this week. Hope this helps, and I agree this height with 35s looks perfect!
