Lots have done it, you can manage assuming you have 3.55 gears. Your truck will be the farthest thing from a race car. Regearing could be an option for regaining power.

I have a leveling kit and 33s and the milage sucks. I have cold air intake and exhaust and its still a plug. I your not looking to be a speed demon it shouldnt be too bad but if i were you i would re-gear for 35s or go with a smaller tire

My last truck I ran 33s with 4:56 gears and it was a good combination, gives you some room to if you go to 35s

I got the 4.6 with 3.55 and 35's and its not that bad.... Ran 37's that way last summer... I would run 4.88's when ever I get the money but I've been doing this set up for over 2 years now

Hahahaha, not too sure! I Probably 12ish in town? I got an exhaust on my truck which doesn't help because I like the sound of it and I always give it more gas than I should.....

wow haha. What kinda miles you guys got on your trucks? My 4.6 97 (reg cab short bed) has 167k. And i get 8-10 with 33's. Which is pretty bad imo.
