First, nice truck and you are definitely measuring up to the super duty. Second, so you're telling me that you gained 2" from 1 leaf spring??? Basically, with the already high back end stock, and 1 spring added it would only be about a 1" difference if i put a 6" lift on the front? That sounds sick to me!!! Or did i interpret you wrong? What if i added 2 springs to try to make the truck a little more even, doable?

Ah I gotcha yeah I really didn't think about the add a leaf system. Ive only heard about them so i can't really tell you much because I never really haul heavy stuff that weights the back end of my truck down. I mainly pull 21' peanut wagons but they weigh close to 20000 lbs and are evenly distributed weight wise because of the tongue. But the AAL sounds like a pretty good option for you. And with the body lift youre right about that some trucks it looks freakin awesome on but some just look like lol

Yup. 2" (roughly) from one add a leaf keeping the OEM block. When we did some measurements we figured it would sit dead even with a 4" lift. Not sure if they can be stacked though- you'd be better going to a custom made spring like deaver or something. Stacking these would be like riding a bale wagon.
The reason they lift it is because they place more curve in the pack and get it to stand up. Experiences differ though, each one seems to have its own attitude. I think the add a leaf is a great compliment to a level. In some cases it will accommodate a 4" lift- which is similar to the skyjacker rear. For a 6"- likely wouldn't be enough. Although, with some measurements and a little craftiness, you could likely find a slightly taller block and use the add a leaf with it so your not relying solely on a large block to lift the rear?

Yeah man I know it sounds crazy but it really does http://www.masonauction.com/2-10-07/...ut%20wagon.bmp
this is a pic of the type of trailer the way the tongue on the trailer is setup its weight is evenly spaced out instead of pullin down on the rear bumper

Haha okay so I got tired of reading through all these posts but just thought I'd give my input on rough country because I have their 6" lift on my truck.. I've beat the hell out of it offroad on trails and crawling and mud.. And it's held up very very well, I've had no issues what so ever with the suspension, no realignment needed or anything like that. The only thing is it's not gonna be as smooth a ride as say BDS but it's definitely great quality and in my opinion the ride is still great.. I personally love it. I'll just more than likely down the road upgrade to king shocks all around eventually for an even better ride and more offroad help.
