Default 35x12.50s on factory rims

I want to put 35x12.50s on my 04..not sure if I'm going to do a 2.5" front/ 1" in the back level kit or something bigger yet but I want to know if I can fit the 35 12.50s on my factory 17" rim

You can do it but the tread centers will wear prematurely. This can be somewhat reduced by keeping the pressure as low as safely possible. This configuration actually works good as a serious mud tire because the tread is kept narrower and there is a slight hump in the middle, both of which aid in penetration and traction.

Not recommended.. Some 12.50 actually measure 13.4 wide like the nitro mud grappler.

Nine inches is probably the right wheel width for that tire. I think the stock wheels are 7.5 inches.

i had 33s with a 3 inch level before the 35s. That lasted about two weeks because it was too small for me.

33s with 3 inch level

35s with 3 inch level
