body lifts in general are a bad idea... I have seen many many problems arise from them....

but a 35x12.50 tire is too wide for a stock wheel... it will bow out to much and while a lot of people do it, it will create more heat and undue stress and you run the risk of a blwo out...

so a body lift and a tire thats too wide you will be batting a thousand ... thats just my .02

You can run 35x12.50s on stock wheels all day long with no problems , ive done it......it will not hurt a thang...... 3" body lifts are not bad either , ive had 2 different trucks with 3" body lifts and dog the hel out of them and it dont hurt anythang......

heres my 99 with 3" body lift and 35s on stock wheels

here it is with 35s on 16x10 black steel wheels.
