I run 35's with 3.55 and its not that big of a deal. Its not all ballsy as it was, but it will still smoke the tires and walk around corners. I beat the **** out of my truck and get 12-14 mpg in town.

Mines an 07 with a 5.4

Youll be fine. Ive driven V6's with 35s and 37s, as long as you arent wanting a race car its not that big of a deal.

One of my customers runs 36.5 tires with 3.73 gears and has had the truck for years with no issues. His truck doesnt feel much different from mine with 35's and 3.55's.

That's the difference...the 5.4 has more cajones than the 4.6. Ever since putting the 33s on my 4.6, I've been looking at regearing to 4.10 or so just to get back the pep I lost. Been looking at other mods too to increase the power of my truck.

The 4.6 can make some good power with the right mods. But it may be cheaper to trade yours in for something more powerful. I've seen a Kia minivan move pretty quick, so I know an f150 can go.

I had a '95 reg. cab long bed 4x4 with a 6" lift, 302 5.0, 4 speed manual and 35x12.50's and that bad boy smoked the tires through 2nd gear with 3.55 gears. I never had any issues at all. Granted, it was a manual, and I did some minor work to the 5.0, but that thing had a ton of power even with 3.55's and 35's...People never believed me when I would tell them it was stock gearing after riding in that truck. The only real set back to the 3.55's and 35's was it sucked a lot of gas lol

Default 2102 FX4 gears

I have 275 55 20 tires that came stock. I have the 3.73 gears locking diff and I want to put a lift and bigger tires yet not to take away the MPG's. I dont get the advertised 22 now anyhow with these 20's. Close I ave 19.7 on highway.
Any suggestions on the best leveling kit? 4.10 gears are sweet but just bought the truck and the boss says no mods till we atleast get a payment in the books. I did however buy the SCT tuner and running the 87 tune for now we shall see what the MPG's improve if any.

How is that SCT tuner? I want a tuner but worried about all of the possible issues that people talk about such as overheating, transmission issues, etc?
