Default 2wd Help

Hey!
I've got a 2006 f150 2wd...I love the truck but hate the fact that it is not a 4x4. Does anyone have any tips for very light offroading with my truck? It's got a limited slip and pretty meaty tires. Any help would be great!!

a front end winch would be good incase you get stuck. or a buddy with a 4x4.

a good set of tow straps doesnt hurt either.

if you think your going to get stuck floor it! don't do that.. like he said get a whinch they even help out the ones with 4x4 you don't need a massive 2 grand whinch they have hand crank ones that can do the same with some manual labor. also get a tree strap so you wont chew up the tree while your winching

what kind of terrain, if its desert or sand, then air down your tires and in that case the throttle is your friend

Awesome, thanks for all the tips. I've always wanted a winch, just don't have the money for it right now haha. It's basically just red clay, that's dry, and has some ruts and just light trail riding I guess. I just hate trying to get to a fishing spot and be afraid of getting stuck!!! Haha

I cant remember what they are called but there plastic planks with some sort of ridges on top that you lay down to get traction when you are stuck
