Yeah he had some crazy offset rims on it too. Them things stuck out pretty good. but yeah 35s and a 6" lift will work. You cant go wrong with that combo.

Yeah, 35" 12.5 r20 is what I have on a 6" lift and they fit great

i know people that run the stock 20" wheel which is about a 6.5" backspacing with 35/12.50 tires and they don't have any rub... 4.5-5" backspacing is for a 17-18" rim which is what the kit was developed using. it does not limit you to those exact specs. 20" rim gives more room for the UCA which means you can have a bigger backspacing as long as the rim is bigger than 17-18"

To comment on the actual question, that's too much BS for most lifts.
