2012 Super duty does the front axle have a locker

A locker, or even a limited slip carrier in the front axle from the factory would be highly unusual for any vehicle, as drivability issues *can* result, especially among novices.
That said, you might find the "Sticky" on this site where you can pull what amounts to the "Line Tag" for your truck based in the VIN number. That will tell you empirically what you truck came with down to every detail.
Another thought: are you the first owner? If not, a previous owner *may* have installed one (?)

No I'm the second owner. I got the truck for a steal of a price. It was a street queen now it's a work and play truck suppose I'll have to add that to my list of to do to the truck. Nothing worse then getting stuck because all 4 ain't pulling

Have you put it in four wheel drive and not broken your thumbs when trying to steer? If so it probably doesn't have a locker in there.
I've done a bunch of driving off road and always found that a locked front axle was rarely needed. Most of my jeeps were locked front and rear and I usually left one hub unlocked so I could turn them. They also put a fair amount of stress on the u joints. YMMV
