Default 2010 fx4 off road built need advice

Hey I got a 2010 fx4 originally just to tow my race car to the track , but now I want to have a bit of fun with it too off road. The big question is how do I get more suspension travel. I don't need a 6 inch lift or anything like that just a tiny bit of lift like a 2 or 4 inch but a lot more travel. Appreciate all the help.

What do you need more travel for?

Most of the time long travel suspension is for rock crawling where you need the most articulation possible to keep as much rubber on the rock as possible.

I can't foresee you taking a truck with this kind of wheel base into rocks big enough to need tons of suspension travel. Being in rocks that big, you're ground clearance is going to be a much bigger problem. You will need much larger tires, which requires a big lift.

Agreed. Fox or Bilstein shocks will give you more travel.

King makes good ****, so does Dixon bros and camburg. You really can't go wrong with any of the popular brands.

After much research I think king coilover with camburg upper control ARM with hellwig swaybar should be everything I want or need on my truck with the addition with the procomp add a leaf
