1991 f150 sas swap
ok guys this is my first time doing a post like this so it make take me some time getting use to, right now im starting off with a 1991 f150 i bought stock and have done a 6 inch suspension and 3 inch body lift with 38.5 groundhawgs, over a 1 year period. after i rebuilt the ttb front end i got hit by a buggy and blew the front end and bent it
so now i have a 1978 f150 dana 44 that i drove 4 hours to get since their getting harder to find out here. i have to put new balljoints in and axle u joints in all coming from bronco graveyard. (all splicer parts).its getting new inner and outer bearings and seals. with warn manual hubs out of the ttb. i will be reusing the radius arm drop brackets from the ttb lift, the just have to be moved back and have to notch the body mount bracket a little. im ordering a new track bar with the sas mount a new draglink and extended brakelines from bronco graveyard.com to.
the front end all ready has 4.10 gears so im going to have to re gear the 8.8 to 4.10 also. so right now im looking at around $1000.00 to get all of this done. i will be posting pictures of the truck and the front end when i get off off work tomorrow. this swap will take me about 3 months to finish since money is getting tight. all the work will be done by me and my dad. the only thing that wont be will be the gears which i will have modifications unlimited do. if yall got any pointers or tips please let me know, im very open to info and help.

Track Bar with Mount for sas = $105
inner and outer bearing and seals= $50
radius arm bushing kit Moog = $35
brake calipers x2 = $40

so far im looking at around $700 for the rebuild and necessary components for the swap im pretty sure i will be adding things as i go along but for now this is what i got. and my parts are going to be cheaper than everyone because of my discount with all the auto part stores i deal with.
