Default 1990 lift kit

hey guys! I'm new to this forum,
my name is danny and I'm 19, i was want to lift my 1990 f150, custom 2wd last night i put 2" blocks in the rear and replaced the front coil springs and put spacers in each coil, but being they where stock they didn't bring it up any...(dumb me) anyway, i was wondering the best way to raise the front of the truck up about 3 inches, i had read somewhere that if i put f250 could springs in the front that will give me an extra inch? does anyone have any input, it would be much appreciated!
thanks guys!
