Default 1/4" wheel spacers??? Help!

Ok so looking into 1/4" hub centric wheel spacers. Just to clear my uca on a wider tire anyone have experience with these? These are not the bolt on to existing hub ones just slip on and than apply tire and lugs. Just wondering any safety issues or wear and tear issues. Thanks!

I put nitto trail grapplers on my 07 stock wheels with 1/4" wheel spacer just like you're asking. No rub on the upper control arm, no bad wear problem or anything. My tires are 295/55/20. The are a hell of a lot wider and stick out jus under an inch on the fender wells compared to regular tires and look a lot better. It can be done. Depends how wide your going. As long as your lug nut can get 6 or more full turns on the lug stud you are still safe to drive without any issues and I got 7 by hand before tightening it down with impact.
