Default 06 F150 4x4 not working

Looking to buy this 06 F150 4wd with 100k miles. I cannot seem to get the four wheel drive to work. I put the truck in neutral then 4wd then park, then reverse but doesn't do anything. I changed the iwe but still nothing. So what else should I look over.

I checked, there is vaccum on the hoses to the hubs all the time 2 wheel or putting the switch to 4 wheel. So I changed the IWE selonoid, just dont know this truck so before a mechanic chargers a arm and a leg checking things out myself, but I'm no mechanic.

If the problem is vacuum related you can look through this thread;

Sounds like it is not though. When the switch is in 4x4 does the dash light indicate/come on? If not, try tapping on the shift motor on the transfer case with a tool handle (something not metal). Those will sometimes stick (like a bad starter solenoid) if they don't get used very often.
