November 2011 TOTM Winner
Thankyou Wondertwin!!
Year: 1988
Model:F150 Custom
Milage:92,250 shows on ther speedo, it was inoperative.
Options: Air Conditioning, 4 speed manual, 4wd
Mods/Custom Work: Rear Aussie Locker, 4" Rancho Lift, 2" body lift, 35" Maxxis on Ultra Wheels, Rocksolid front Winch Bumper, 10k Engo Winch, 2.5” exhaust, Magnaflow muffler, 38 gallon Spectra rear tank, Bushwacker Flares, Warn premium hubs, FSB Transfer case skidplate, in bed low profile toolbox.
Description: The truck has been in some state of repair for 7 1/2 months and never driven on the street by me until this week. It was junkyard bound when I got it and could barely run for minutes when I got it. I put it on a trailer and brought it to the house. First sitting in the street, then the driveway and then finally in the garage. I have been into and repaired virtually every system on the truck, fuel delivery, ignition, start circuit, egr, emission circuits and switches, secondary air, lights: including instrument illumination, exterior and interior, signal lights, horn, wipers, speedometer, brakes, cooling, blower, air conditioner, heat, suspension, the 8.8 and the 44TTB, electrical generation and distribution. I didn't have to get into internal transmission, engine internals and exhaust. I gutted and replaced the interior with the exception of replacing the dash pad. Wire brushed every bit of the frame with a high speed and painted with 3 coats of Rustuleum.
Why did you Nominate this truck: Some other members convinced me.
