They are painted gloss black. Its just kinda hard to tell cause i redid every pice of plastic on the truck including the mirrors with Krylon fusion.

Model: FX4 Super Crew

Milage: 2310

Options: 5.0 motor, Navigation, Sunroof, Appearance Package

Mods/Custom Work: 6 Inch BDS lift, 20 Inch XD Crank wheels with Toyo Open Country 35's, MBRP Stainless Exhaust, AFE Cold Air Intake, Extang Tri Fold Soft Tonneau Cover, Recon Smoked Mirror Lenses, 2010 STX Grill.

Description: This is my second F150, Always had F250's and F350's but don't need to tow as much as I used to. This is one of the nicest riding trucks I have ever had.

Why did you Nominate this truck: Because I did as much research as possible to find the best components for the best performance, ride and fit. Just enough mods without going over the top and of course because it's mine and I love it!!

Aw, that's right the new 2013's have projectors. Thanks, for the clarification. I didn't think they looked that nice, but then again I haven't seen many new F-150's around. Nice!

Thanks!! Would you believe when I first bought it, I didn't like the HID's!! I wanted the old style lights but its a disaster to swap, they are the same size but the wiring harness has to be changed to do it and it's part of the engine wiring harness according to Ford. After a few days they grew on me, now I like them alot except I am CONSTANTLY (as in daily or nightly I should say) getting lights flashed at me as if I have my high beams on, naturally I respond with my high beams back at them and that usually shuts them up! Besides being extremely bright, I am sure being 6 inches higher is putting them at an awkward angle, I have to adjust them down a little somehow I guess! One thing I don't like is the fog/driving lights look yellow in comparison to the headlights, I ordered a set of bright white led bulbs off of ebay for the fog lisght, let's see if that makes a difference.
