I'm soliciting your opinions for ideas for the theme of the next couple TOTM competitions. In the past, we've done military trucks, specific generations, lowered trucks, etc.
Now, its up to you guys/gals to fill me in on what you'd like to see for the next competition. I feel like just having a bunch of random trucks of varying generations and styles is not only a little bit boring, but also a little on the predictable side.
Let me know what you think and maybe it will be the theme for January 2012 TOTM!

on the other forum I am on we have done TOTM with 3-5 trucks of the same Generation competing against each other, we have done supercrew of any gen. or scab of any gen, or rab or any gen. We have done dirtiest TOTM and also cleanest TOTM. But we also did a different nomination thread for each month to get a fresh list of nominees to fit the next category for TOTM

i like the idea of the same trim options. Maybe an FX truck of the month, being FX4 or FX2 of any year, or Lariat TOTM, etc...nice to see how people with the initial same taste in a truck can go in completely different directions with mods.
Well, for starters I would like to have the TOTY (truck of the year) have ONLY TOTM winners in it. I don't think it's fair that a set of new (nominations) trucks get the chance to win TOTY, but the past TOTM winners don't even get to attempt it. Which means TOTY would consist of 12 trucks (), and each TOTM winner from that year could have a chance to take the title. . . Truck of the Year!
PS: Rates may apply. Please see shipping details, for more information. No orders to Hawaii, Alaska, or Canada. 10% will be added to parties of 8, or more. ^^ I imagine it would be hard to do a TOTY because quite often (it seems lately) that the winners of the TOTM have been newbies that come in post maybe 50-100 posts, nominate their own truck and win TOTM then never post on the forum again.. I don't know about everybody else but I don't want to see half of the guys in the running for TOTY to be inactive members...

I am only saying that all of the TOTM winners should be the only ones in TOTY. If they do win TOTM which puts them in TOTY then don't vote, for them.
Why not do a quarterly "Build of the month"? I have seen some great work by members of the F150 forums building bumpers, grille's etc etc. IMHO some of these home made builds look better than anything you can buy from any supplier and it seems as though many stay busy trying to out do the other.
