wheel and tire fitment????
I have a 2009 f150 4x4 and am considering getting XD monsters in 20 x 9 inch with 18 offset which is 5.71" offset. I have a 2.5 inch level for front and blocks for rear. Tire size I plan on is 305/55/20. Will these sizes fit fine and will it stick out the fender a bit or would I need the -12 offset with 4.53 backspacing for it to stick out a bit. I have tried the search but haven't found anything.
Thanks

Your better off with the +18mm offset. This offset will still set the wheels and tires out beyond the fenders but not as much as the -12mm would.
305/55R20 on this wheel looks good to me with your leveling kit as well. Give Kellen a call at 1.888.459.4080 ext 51874 if you would like a quote from us. We don't stock these wheels but we can certainly order them in for you.

Thanks for the reply. Now I have decieded on a tire. I want the Toyo Open country m/t. I know they have it in 33 x 12.50 x 20 inch and 35 x 12.50 x 20 inch and am wanting the 35 if it will work with no rubbing. Sorry for all the questions.

A 305/55R20 is roughly 33.2x12" wide. If you like the Toyo I'd recommend looking into the Nitto Trail Grappler. Toyo builds and owns Nitto. The technology is the same and the Nitto's usually a little cheaper.

A 35" tire will rub hard on a leveled F150 without a good amount of modification.

I have a 2006 XLT 4X4 and I also have a 2.5"leveling kit on the front if I have 20X10 with 33 X 12.5 X 20 will I have any problems with rubbing? And what kinda backspace should I look for with that?

What are you looking to find out?
Most 10" wide wheels have a low negative offset so with just a leveling kit, the set-up you listed will rub pretty good. I would consider running a 9" wide wheel with a +18mm offset and 305/55-20's.

tire size 2010 F150 with level kit
I have tried to write this 4 times and hope it makes sense... The cross sectional width at the crown of a tire as represented in metric 295mm is always 295mm 18 inch or 20 inch wheel does not matter.. The sidewall section is the second number as a percentage of the first number.. Example 295 70 R 18 (70) means 70% of the 295 or 206.5mm... a 65 means 65% 60= 60% and so on.. a 295X70X18 inch tire is 34.3 tall and 11.6 wide and section height 8.1... A 295X70X20 is 36.3 tall 11.6 wide and section height of 8.1,,, the wheel is two inches taller and the tire is two inches taller... figures out correctly.. Sidewall height also effects how smooth the ride is also. Less sidewall means a rougher ride. So to drop tires in a 20 inch down to fit the ford f150 you drop the sidewall down. So a 295X65X20 you get 35.1 inches tall and 11.6 wide and 7.5 section height... 295X60X20 you get 33.9 inches tall and 11.6 inches wide and a section height of 7 inches.. As to the real question after trial and error of 4 sets of tires I like more sidewall ( my prefrence you may like less) 18 inch wheels keep a nice ride. 295X70X18 is max for a no rub and safe operation of a 2.5 lifted Ford F150 2010 FX4 4X4.
The wheels choosen are 25mm offset (minimum 18 max 33mm off set is critical) Raptor all black wheels 295X70X18 tires nitto all terrain.. I tried bigger and they will rub if you turn and hit a bump ( drive way or anything to cause suspension to articulate more than about one inch) at a speed over about 10 mile per hour. This is my conclusion based on trial and error and a great deal of help from Discount tires not charging me for the sets of tires I did not buy because they were to big ( width or height or both). If you have better luck others here mgiht want to know of your experince me personally, I do not want to cut up my new 40k truck to make tires fit. Thanks
