I found a set of Toyo AT2's in 285/70/17 on CL, guy is towing a trailer more often so went back to stock size. He plowed with them and did some towing, but tires look good, they are LT load range E and have 10/32 of tread left. Seller wont come down from $400, is that a decent deal or should I wait for a black friday deal or something? I am looking for tires on a budget, but if I can get a new set of something good for not much more money then that makes more sense. Here are others I am considering new:

Duratrac
Dynapro AT-M
Destination AT
Toyo AT2
Grabber AT2

Obviously some of these would be more expensive ethan others.

Just me but I don't think I'd buy used tires from CL.

For me, tires are not something I buy on a budget. Your vehicle is riding on just a few inches of tire at any one time so I want something I trust at 70 mph.
