Default Anyone Have Any Thoughts On 285/75/17 on 2wd?

Howdy everyone,
The time has nearly come for new tires on the 05. Right now I'm running 285 70 17 Cooper AT3's which I can't complain any about. However like all of us truck guys I'm always looking to try different stuff! I've been looking and found some Nittos and Toyo AT's in 285 75 17, which I believe is something like a 33.8" tire. I am running a 2" level with stock wheels and am curious as to whether anyone has squeezed these onto a 2wd. Would that extra inch or so in the sidewall be likely to cause rubbing, or would the fact that the width is the same between the two mean that the risk of rubbing would be the same? I'm just gathering info and am curious to see if anyone has done it or has input!

If it helps at all...I have raptor beadlocks with a 305/70/17 on a 2wd with a 2.5" leveling spacer upfront and i have no rubing issues whatsoever and i had to do absolutely no trimming.
