offroad I usually drop to 25 psi.... unless I am running hard and fast, then I stay around 40 psi.... do I do trails like that? Nope, cuz none of my truck would fit in there except for my Bronco, but thats just a dune rig..... however, when toyo's just spin and spin in the sand... and when I am running through mild offroad trails and a small stick punctures my sidewall, I am going to be pissed... ya know?

I have had quarter inch stick poke through the bottom of my combat boots so one sticking through the sidewall of a tire is not unexpected. I have not had much experience in sand but the toyos work decent in show and excellent on ice. Currently I am running federal 351 on my F150 they were half the price of the toyo tires. The federals I have stuck a small bit of some thing trough the sidewall of one and a bolt through the tread of another, the higher the pressure the easier it is to puncture the sidewall is my experience, and for any moderate kind of off-roading 25 psi is way to high. I usually dropped my to about 12 for my truck and have not had any problems with breaking beads yet.

BF Goodridge AT 30x9.5-15

Best tires I have ever had! They were around $140 a tire by me, I put about 2500 miles on them so far, no road whine or anything, great in the water and mud. Went through all kinds of big puddles in 2wd, didn't even need 4wd. Still to early to tell about wear but I would def buy them again, just bigger!

285/70/17 Cooper Discoverer STT's
Cant really give the best commentary since i went from a mustang to this truck, but they do a damn good job. When i do the body lift i will definitely be getting either these again or the Kumhos

edit: opinions from you guys? ive been reading reviews on tirerack and other sites, cooper sounds like they really dont stand behind their products but everything is completely mixed...so if you had to, kumho mudders or cooper mudders in 35x12.5x17?

I have several sets of cooper tires, they seem to stand behind their product better than the set of goodyears I had. My goodyears were worn 22% and the dealer wanted almost 75% the cost of new tires for road hazard replacements. I had a rock penetrate the tread and destroy the tire there was a 3 inch long cut in the inside of the tire the outside only had a small mark where the rock had hit the tire. This was right after the roads had been graded so the rock I hit was razor sharp. My cooper tires I stuck a log through the sidwall just below the treadline the dealer did not ask any question just replaced the tire it was worn about 35% of the tread. I had the cooper tire replaced at a different dealer than I bought it at.
Another comparison is on the trailer tires, most rv sites do not recomend the goodyear tires the will recomend tire made by cooper over most all others.

The coopers are good tires, but if you are on any type of gravel, you will chew them up like no other.... IMO get the Kumho M/T's..... but get the KL71 not the old school model

I too am looking at a set of Grabber's from General. I have read a ton too. I actually went to sears today but they didn't have any in stock so I am going to try another place on Monday. Kinda want to see them up close and personal.
