The toyo's spin and spin and spin.... and I have punctured the sidewalls on many occasions... I had a twig that was less than a quarter inch thick fully penetrate the sidewall.... If you want a good all around tire, I highly recommend the Kumho.... if you want an aggressive tire that will only be driven on the street then the toyo is good

These Toyo's and Kumho's might look cool, but they will not wear as well or stand up against hard wear as the BFG's.

Check out the Maxxis Buckshot's and Bighorn's. Hard to beat for the price, wear good and handle the muddy stuff pretty good also.

Again..the BFG's. Not some trendy looking MT rubber for your truck. Good on and off the pavement.

Bridgestone Dueller Revo
265/70/17 Paid a little over 700 for the set. In terms of traction all around it is great. I drive a lot of dirt roads at least 6000 miles a year. I also live in idaho and drive in alot snow first tire i didnt need a winter change over. I am about to buy a new set of tires, but these are done at 25000. Not sure what happened but the warranty is covering 350 of the cost.

This is a VERY interesting commentary... I'm curious however to the details of how you achieved this opinion. What is your interpretaion of going "off road"?? How much air pressure were you running? What size tires are you referring to?
This my interpretation of "off road"... this is my 4Runner:
I usually run about 8psi while "off road" and lowering tire pressure greatly changes the way a tire gains traction. With all this being said, I have several friends who run the Toyo Open Country M/T and have had excellent luck with their offroad ability.
I'm not bashing your opinions, I'm just curious about the parameters.
