Go ahead and post your opinion on your tires with all the pros and cons of them in this thread so hopefully when someone needs new tires they can look here to get some input about them before they purchase.

Tires: 285/70/17 Mastercraft Courser AT's
Thoughts: So far I've had these tires for 40K and they still have a good 5 or more thousand on them. This is the third set of Mastercrafts we've had and they all have pretty good tread life. They perform good on the street and decent in your moderate off roading but once you get over that these tires don't do to hot. They don't clean very good but what can you expect from an AT in clay mud. They are pretty quiet but have gotten a tad bit louder over time as the tread has worn. Overall these tires do good for what they are and last a good long time, even when you don't rotate them as often as you should, like I do. I wish I would've gone with a larger tire with a more aggresive tread since MTs last so much longer than they used too.

I guess I'll go next. I have 285/70/17 Bridgstone Dualler AT Revos. IMO they were an okay tire for snow and ice, but I only have about 20,00 miles on them, and they are well over half used up. And I dont light the tires up very often. Maybe its just me, but they didnt seem to have the tread life I was hoping. But then again, they didnt have the tread I thought they should from the start. I will be getting some BFGs after this set is burnt up.

BFG Rugged Trail A/T's. Tese tires only have about 10k on them of offroad/city/highway driving and are still fresh. This is the 4th set of BFG All Terrains that I have ran and they all do extremely well. As soon as they are done, which probably wont be for a while, I will replace them with the BFG MT KM or KM2's.

This is a pretty good tire coming from stock. As for road noise, it is very quite for a MT and really allows for quick turns and high speeds. They are a great choice for all who want to go mudding/sanding/off-roading.....they are by far the best tire that i have ever purchased and would recommend them to anyone.

had em on there for almost 6 months...they handle like they are on rails, they look good and are wearing very well...should last about 50-60k

i have had to replace one due to a rock puncturing the tire but i feel that most tires would of faired the same

they cost about 190 a tire and i would recommend them...

How much did those run you? They look like a good tire, and I am definatley going to need new tires by spring.

a have the BFG radial long trails in a 275/65/17. the road noise is good,im not sure how long the previous owner had'em on there but i have put about 17k or so and they are wearing well. i only had'em in the mud once and got stuck but thats my fault. and last winter we got a foot of snow one week and i didnt get stuck at all and my truck is a 2wd. and they do pretty good in wet weather. they will break lose pretty easy when i punch the gas but they hold good while driving in wet conditions.

my grandpa has the same ones but in 18 and hes put 17k on them and they look new.

i would recommend them.

Toyo Open Country M/T.... they suck offroad but look good, wear good, but without proper rotation they cup easily... quiet for a M/T, stiff ride

Interco IROK... great offroad, look awesome, wear very quickly, lots of road noise, soft ride

Interco Truxus STS.... great in sand, horrible in rain, wear decent, look sweet, decent amount of road noise, soft ride

Interco Vortrac... good wear, great on road, great offroad, look cool, quiet on road, soft ride

Kumho Road Venture M/T KL71.... make sure to get the KL71 model.... best tire I have ever ran... great on road awesome offroad, quiet, nice ride, good wear, look sweet....

P275x65x18 BFG rugged trail's (stocker's) still on my stock 18" wheels. Took them off at 21k miles, not too bad for a stock tire but they looked wimpy after I leveled my truck. Now I have 315x70x17 BFG all-terrains. Great in everthing but heavy Louisiana mud. They ride smooth and I have close to 30k miles on them and they are only 1/3 worn, probably can go 80 to 90k miles. I also have a spare set of Toyo 285x70x17 AT's that are almost as good as the BFG's but they ride rougher so I took them off and have them in my garage. No real complaint's with either the BFG or Toyo's.
