Default New to Ford: need some help on level and tires

Hey guys. Buying my first Ford after driving two Rams for 10 yrs. getting a 2014 F150 platinum 4x4. I want to level and add bigger tires while keeping the stock rims.

Will a 2" autospring level get me there and should I buy new shocks (Bilsteins) to improve ride and wear on truck?

Will Toyo atII extreme tires (33x12.5x20) fit without spacers? If not, what size?

I know you probably get these questions a lot, but I'm new to Ford and want to make sure it's done right and will last through the years. Thanks for any help!

2" will fit the 33x12.5's without the lift it would be tight and you might have to trim a little. A lot of guys can even get 35's with some trimming with the 2" leveling kits. I have the 3" hell bent steel leveling kit and I could probably get 35's but it would have the wheel well pretty full. I'm sticking with 33's.

You don't have to buy new shocks with the leveling kit, but it never hurts to upgrade if you got the cash to do it.

Thanks. Think I've decided on AS 2" leveling kit and looking at 295/60/20 tires on the stock rims. Think I'll have any issues fitting those?

Bilstein doesn't yet make a strut for the 2014 lower mount.
However, you should contact Alex F150Lifts.com and look into their BOSS Coilovers. You are spending a lot of hard earned money on that Platinum, so treat it to a nice fully adjustable ride height set of coilovers.

Will do. Thanks for the suggestion. Any input on the 295/60/20 fitting on the stock platinum rims with the 2" level?

Those 295/60/20s will fit just fine with a 2" level.
They will be very close to the upper control arm end but at long as the side lugs on the tire aren't super aggressive then you'll be fine.
