Great choice!!! So glad you didn't buy goodyears!!!! You will be very happy with the cooper and dodged a big bullit on the silent junk.

I was going to recommend the Hankook RF-10 because it is an awesome tire. Great tread life, reasonable cost, and amazing in the snow, rain, and quite when dry.

Tossing in my experience with the Firestone Destinations. I've had two sets of these (18" and 20") and I love them. Not overly aggressive but still much beefier looking than street tires. Perform well in all conditions, even off road. VERY quiet and long-wearing. I will definitely buy them again. Added bonus: some of the least expensive tires you can find compared to others in their size/use range.

I've had the destinations and now have the Terras. Both good tires. Both comparable in traction and road noise. I've heard the silent armour is nice. I actually wanted to buy them, but they were quite expensive so I went with the Destinations.

Very nice looking tire. I had pretty much the same ones under the El Dorado name, just the side wall/side lugs were pretty plain (older gen Cooper Discoverer A/T pattern).
I don't think you will have any complaints. Most of the A/T's are pretty similar in performance for normal, every day driving.

You guys just made up my mind go ahead and buy some duratracs!

That's what I wanna get for the 18x9 TIS 534B +0 offset wheels I wanna get but I'm concerned about stress on the tranny I've heard described here on the forum.

I was gonna opt for the grabbers but I'm looking at great deals on wheel fire.com and the grabbers aren't an option and tirerack doesn't have the wheels I want

I had the cooper AT3. I was satisfied with them. They worked great in snow if that's a concern. Didn't own them long enough to give them a real shot in mud, sold them to my nephew and replaced them with cooper ST MAXX.

I have 275/65/18 AT3's now and love them. I wanna keep them strictly for winter though on the factory wheels
