Default need help finding the right offset

I currently have 275/60r20 tires which are 33s (32.99 if you want to get technical) on stock wheels with a 2.5 in leveling kit and am currently looking for wheels that would poke out my wheels a bit, but not to the point where there would be any rubbing what so ever, so I was wondering what offset would be a good one?

OEM wheels are +44 offset, the closer you get to 0 the more they will extend beyond the fenders. My wheels are -12 and they stick out about 2".

Thanks, no rub at all. Those are 32" tires, I will be going to 34 or 35" tires when those wear out. Oh and my truck is 2wd so a 4wd will have even more clearance, about 2" more.

I have a '13 STX 2wd with 20x9 +30 offset wheels, running 305/50/20 Cooper Discover Ht Plus tires. My truck is stock height, and I have no clearance issues. Ive bounced it around at full lock and have never rubbed on anything. They stick out just a little bit (an inch or two), but not a ton. I am out of town so I cant get a better angle pic right now or a measurement, but I do know they fit no issues and no rubbing.

looks good I'm thinking about getting +18 offset for my 33s,but I gotta do a little more searching around to make sure I don't rub, which I don't think I will, but I just want to be certain, thanks for the feedback!

This might be a dumb question, but is the offset determined by each wheel manufacturer? And each model of wheel? Or does each wheel sit the same way, and the installer makes the offset by installng something like washers so the wheel sticks out?

Yes, it's set by the wheel. Typically a mfg will make multiple offsets of the same wheel to fit different vehicles/setups. If you look at something like the Fuel Hostage wheel, they make 3 versions of it in 18x9 with 6x135 bolt pattern. They make a -12, +01, and +20 offset.

what AZ said, but they do sell wheel spacers if you desire more stance, although I've heard horror stories of wheels coming off due to spacers. I wouldn't run wheel spacers, but thats just me
