Lift or level for 33s
I have a 2006 f150 king ranch and wanna throw some 33s on it just not sure if I would need a lift or a level... I'm looking for a wider stance and a meaner bulldog look...

You can get away with a level kit. However after swapping from a level kit to a lift kit I would never do a level again. The wear and tear on suspension components and ride harshness make it a bad choice in my mind now. The only thing that kept me away from a lift kit for so long was that it's basically permanent.
But a level would be sufficient for 33" tires and aftermarket wheels with a decent offset.

Thanks for the response guys... I'm not dead set on a level and will consider a lift just don't wanna break the bank getting the lift plus tires plus rims...I don't go off road much unless the occasional muddy trail go to my hunting area comes up or using
My 4x4 while on the beaches of Corpus Christi ... If I went with the lift what would be a decent one

I have the same question, man. I have 2014 Platinum and just bought a RC 2.5" front leveling kit for it. Like you, I just want to know if I put 305/55/20s would it rub or do I need to put some spacers for them? Im pretty solid on getting the 305s.

I've had lifted and leveled trucks. 33's look small on a lifted truck. My 04 was leveled with 325/60r18's, my 08 Sierra was lifted with 35x12.5r20's, and my 13 is now leveled with 305/55r20's. I won't lift unless I'm going 35's or larger.

I've been thinking of sticking with 33s and doing a 4 inch lift. My winter tires are 33s and I want my summer tires to match so I think I'm going to do 33s on my 22s for the summer tires. I don't think it will look too far off on just a 4 inch kit. I'm already leveled 2.5 inches so another inch and a half on the front shouldn't be too far off.

The look will depend entirely on the rim size, a 32 with a 20" rim will look small but not so much with a 32 and 18" rim.
As an example, I have a 4" lift with 32 tires on 18" wheels. I can fit bigger with ease but not till I wear these 32's out.
4" lift up front, 2" lift in back for a level.
