Default Largest Tire Size for the new F150's

Does anyone know what the largest 18 inch tire size can be mounted under the stock 2006 F150 FX4's? 18 inch tires are hard to find.

Oh...sorry about that.

www.tirerack.com is a good site for wheels/tires. They have a tool that shows you what tires will fit your truck. I'm not sure if they have something that shows you what is the biggest tire that will fit, but it's a good place to start at least.

I guess the other question is are you going to modify the truck? Or are you just interested in what is the largest tire to fit the stock set-up?

Sorry for the late response, I could figure out how to get logged back in. Right now I'm just wanting to see what the largest tire I can fit under it is but eventually I may lift it. I just sold a 97 F150 that had 315/75R16 on it, which is about a 36" tire. It only had a 4.2 liter engine though so it was very weak. I've got the power now though. I'll try your site out too, thanks.

33"-35" tire... Leveling kit would help as well, but cause extra wear and tear on the ball joints...

I heard only certain brand 35's will fit on our 18's. I been looking to do the leveling kit and 35's but money is tight these days.

Yep, 33" as is stock, 35" with a level kit.
35X12.50x18 (325-65-18) with a level kit may have some minor rubbing, depending on the tire type.
