Wink Largest tire/rim on a stock vehicle FX4 4x4

What would be the largest tire/rim combo I can put on a 2014 stock 4x4? I will later be lifting it but I'd like to get tires now - that would look good with a 6in lift. So largest tires for stock?

Hey Rach!

There's a tire and wheel figment guide under the 2009-present section. It's a sticky and there's tons of info there!

Do you plan on using stock wheels? If so that can seriously limit what tires will fit your wheel based on how wide it is and the offset.

If you are getting aftermarket wheels, you could fit up to a 33x12.50 with the right offset wheel.

Nice site, found 3 trucks w/285/70 & 290/70 on stock suspension
2005, 2006 & 2007
Makes me feel better about going w/285's for my truck

Go to tire rack.com and you can see different trier sizes. Half inch in either direction, height and width wise shouldn't be any problem.

I'm in the same boat. I've just got my fx4 and already want to put tires on it! I like my stock 18" rims though. What is the max size for the stock rims?

Unfortunately the stock 18" wheel is only 7.5" wide which really limits what you can put on there.

A 275/70R18 would fit well even with stock suspension.

Do you think I could fit a 285/65/18 ?
