The new MTR with Kevlars are awesome tires. Great offroad performance, excellent road manors and very versital. I had a chance to run a set of 37"s on a new 4Dr Wrangler in Moab and they laughed at everything we threw at them.

Here's a review we did on the tire. : http://www.jk-forum.com/showthread.p...ght=MTR+Kevlar

My only question I had, I just found on that link!

"The new MT/R is asymmetrical nondirectional. They are not left and right designated so once the tires are mounted, they can be rotated from side to side. It may look weird if you're not used to asymmetrical tires but on one side of the vehicle you will have lateral grooves going towards the front of the vehicle and on the other side the lateral grooves will be going towards the rear of the vehicle."

Still weird how the tread it. I like the look of my old MTR's.. more aggressive...

And blackbeast, I was told they were pretty sick on dirt roads. They grip where it counts.. But they are pricey..

Glad we could help

The tires don't look real aggressive in photos but up close you can see why they are a mud tire.

Nice tires but they ain't cheap! I went with the Toyo's that were a little less expensive.

Might wanna look at the Toyo sidewall and see where they are made. The last ones I saw said Made In China on the side....and frankly, Toyo warranty is about the worst out there. Look at the reviews at 1010 Tires website. There are a few folks not happy with their Toyos.
