is the auto shop trying to rip me off?
hey guys. i am new here, but i had some questions i was hoping that could get answered as soon as possible. let me give you a little background of my story. so about two months ago, i decided to get my truck leveled, and get new wheels and tires along with it at my friends auto shop. because he made me order out of the choice of wheels that he had because it makes it easier for him, i decided to pick out of the tires of his recommendation. i choose a pair of 17" rims, along with 33" tires. even tho he said it would fit, it ended up not fitting because there was an offset in the wheel which caused problems for two months. we finally gave up on the 17's, and decided to order 18's with again, 33's, that can fit the 18's. now this is where everything goes wrong. from what i recall, i believe i paid somewhere around 220-230$ for the initial tires that were supposed to fit the 17" rims, but the 18" rims are going to be apparently 325 ea. because from his words, theyre "bigger" i asked a couple of my friends who also has the same tires as i do how much they paid for theirs, and one of my buddies paid about 280 for theirs and its a 34" on 18's. can someone let me know what's the deal? i dont know if this helps at all, but the tires are opencountry at2's.

You can search for the prices online just as quickly as your buddy can. Google is your friend. Search that brand and size and see what comes up.
A quick search showed the following.
