Issue: Atturo Trail Blade vs Toyo vs Nitto Tire Reviews

While most tire brands today are owned by Goodyear or Cooper, there are still significant differences in tire quality you will get at each price point. Our members discuss advice on new tires for the F-150. In this discussion, find out:

  • Are the Atturo Trail Blade M/T tires a good low-cost choice?
  • How does their tread life stack up?
  • Is it worth to pay for Toyo or Nitto tires?
  • What is the traction like on these tires?
  • What are the tire dimensions to consider?

Some members say, “you get what you pay for” with the Atturo’s, and that Toyo’s are generally known known for their 50k+ mileage life with proper rotations. At the end of the day, you might only be saving ~$400 on the Atturo’s, for what is arguably a very important part of your truck.

Read on below to find out or contribute your own tips to this
discussion.

You're welcome. I still like that tire a lot but couldn't find it for the price I wanted with a road hazard warranty incase something happened to one.

Yeah. 4wheelonline.com had the best prices I could find. They were a few dollars more per tire but they shipped them for free.

I just had these tires installed today on my truck. Not sure what you mean by low noise, I get it's a MT tire and all but my god I can hear my tires howl no matter how loud my music is. I was told it's low noise for a MT. Hate to hear a bad MT. Could they have been installed wrong or something or am I crazy.

Ah, you've become a lift/crack addict! Welcome to the club

Truck looks good I think the spacers are a blessing in disguise, cause now you have a lot more stance!

I had my Trail Grapps mounted on my Mavericks last week, just while everyone is posting pics of their wheels and tires lol. Really itchin to get the lift on, but I have to wait until August 19th.

And as far as balancing, 3 tires/wheels required less than 2 ounces, and the 4th has 4 3/4 oz. Not happy at all about that much weight on the 4th one.

Any MT hums loudly at speed, and are knobby-feeling at low speeds. I'm guessing this is your first MT? I've driven dozens and dozens of lifted trucks with mud tires at work, so I know what to expect, but this will be my first set on a personal vehicle, so it'll take some getting used to.

Just imagine how bad Swampers and Mud Grapplers are!

well i knew they would be loud specially on the highway but i didnt think it would sound like a fighter jet at 40 km/hr haha. although im not really all that into such a loud tire, im getting use to the noise and the looks are far surpassing the noise.

Wow that's crazy. I have very minimal road noise for a MT. Check your air pressure makes sure it's not really high that effect your ride and road noise. I have mine set at 45psi.

are they supposed to have a loud hum starting at 40km/hr? Im actually almost convinced they are louder at 40-60 then they are at 100 km/hr
