Some members say, “you get what you pay for” with the Atturo’s, and that Toyo’s are generally known known for their 50k+ mileage life with proper rotations. At the end of the day, you might only be saving ~$400 on the Atturo’s, for what is arguably a very important part of your truck.

Atturo Trail Blade M/T
Okay so I'm in the market for new tires as my terra grapplers are pretty much gone. I've seen the Atturo Trail Blade's online and seen a few positive reviews but nothing about tread wear or tread life. For the price of them I figure it can't hurt to check into them. They're considerably cheaper than Toyo's or Nitto's (in a 33x12.5R20 at least). Any opinions or reviews?

Tires are almost always a "you get what you pay for." When Toyos are known to get 50k+ miles every time with proper rotations, they just make sense.

I get u completely but one cannot close the mind off to research some lesser known offerings bc that's how often good quality alternative at great prices are found and even sometimes better selections are found hence the posts asking for more info. Sometimes just doing what the latest fad is or simply going along with the herd will not allow the mind to be enlightened with just as good or better alternatives. We are not talking retreads we are talking getting information on a possible good alternative. Your post is in no way is constructive or helpful in anyway.

I know, but Atturos are cheap, and probably for a reason. You're only saving $400 and have no idea what you're getting with them. Not worthwhile IMO
Federal Couragias last 30k max for example, so they aren't worth the savings.
At 50k for $1600, Toyos are 31.25 mi/dollar. The Atturos would need to get 37,500 miles to be the same (at $1200), then you've got earlier mount and balance cost to throw in, so they need to hit 40k miles to be financially viable. I'd be shocked if anyone has gotten that mileage out of them.

I actually just bought 2 of these size 33x12.5r20s and still need to To buy 2 more once I get the extra money. I've read online that people are getting 30 to 40k out of them. I only paid $235 a piece at my local tire shop so for the price I couldn't beat it!

I've got almost 12,000 on my Federals and there's no way I'm at almost 50% tread life. I'm at 1/4 tread life gone, maybe. I think if it's worth it to you then try them. I have no personal experience but my co-worker had them on a dodge 2500 and he had no complaints.

The tire shop by my work has the 33x12.5r16 for $165 each. They look aggressive as hell, thinking about getting them when I have some funds. Worth a shot.

I've been trying to find a solid review of these tires with treadwear listed somewhere but nobody has had them long enough to really comment. I did find some Camaro's running the AZ800's and had 21K miles on them as of 2/14/2012. They claimed to still have a lot of tread left. Although this is a completely different set of tires I feel it reflects good on the company. I'm only getting like 40K out of my properly rotated Terra Grapplers which aren't very aggressive. For the price it might be worth being a guinea pig... If anyone else decides to pull the trigger on these please post a review on them to help others out. I don't do a lot of driving being in college maybe 10K per year.
P.S. Here's the link to the other page if anyone wants to see their reviews on the company. http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showth...=129708&page=3
Found a couple guys on here that have them. PM'd both one says he'll buy them again in a heartbeat and has roughly 10,000-12,000miles on them, the other hasn't responded yet.

Geaux Tigers!
Just bought a set of the atturo m/t's 35x12.5x20 on a set of series 050 AE wheels. Got the tires for $1,160. It's a 10 ply tire and uses almost the same mold as the toyo; can't beat the price. I'll post some pics, getting everything installed next week.
