35x12.5's on Leveled F150!??
Hi, new here. I just ordered a 3.5" leveling kit for my 05 4x4 f150. I plan on running 35x12.5x18 nitto mud grapplers on 18x9 fuel lethal wheels. I need to know the backspacing and offset for maximum stance but no rubbing, and minimal trimming is no problem! Remember, I want the wheels to stick out as far as possible to give the stocky look, but don't want rubbing!

not aware of a 3.5 level kit... and if there were.. it would tear up your ball joints and CV shafts.. as far as wheels and tires... check out the 04-08 tire and wheel fitment thread.

It's made by heavy metal and is created with an offset spacer to help keep the factory geometry of the suspension. But I think I'm going to go with a -12 offset and just hope all goes well. If anyone with a similar setup or any idea could tell me what kind of trimming to expect I'd appreciate it!

2.5 would be wise... even a 3" on a 4X4 messes with the CV shafts and ball joints...but people run them..

Wouldnt go 35 's
I wouldnt go 35x12.50 unless I had an actual 4 or 6" complete suspension lift ... I talked to a guy just last week about his 2011 f150 running 35's with a level , looked great but he said it rubbed quite a bit(he didnt even know what backspacing/offset was) and I didn't have time to crawl under his truck and look for him .... but If you get a 2" level you can run a 34 x 11.5 (285/75/18 )... his rubbed because they were to wide I guess you could run a 35x11.5 if they make one .... 35s are heavy , they will ruin your mpg and you'll loose power unless you get a custom tune .....Bigger looks better but in the long run your better off with a happy medium IMO ....
