Default 315's on XD Monster 18?

All - I have a 2010 FX4 crew with 18" XD Monsters. I want to put 315/65/18 Nitto Grappler G2's on, but I realize those are too big for the stock setup. Two Questions:

1) If I install Billstein 5100 adjustable shocks, will I be good to go?
2) I'm told intalling the Billstein will take my local go-to shop 1.5 to 2 hours of labor. Does that sound right to you guys?

Appreciate the help.

To answer your first question, yes. Installing the bilstein struts will allow you to clear that tire which is a tall 34 (34.4"). I will have to ask you a question though. What is the width and offest on the wheels you are looking at? This will determine how much trimming you will have to do and if the tire itself will avoid rubbing on the UCA.
To answer your second question. 2 hours does seem to be right around what it would take a shop to professionally install these. Personally it actually sounds like they might have lowballed the quote. Nonetheless, you seem like you are heading in the right direction and keep us posted on your decision.

The wheels I have are XD Monster 18X9 with 18 differential.

Also, should I be looking at different sizes, b/c according to Tire Rack neither 315/65/18 nor 315/70/18 have any availibility. 305's have more options, and so do 33/12.5/18.

Even 35X12.5 have more options, but those won't fit with these wheels even with Bilsteins, will they?

Appreciate the help.

Bilsteins will clear a 35" tire and with the offset that you want, you shouldnt run into any real rubbing issues.

35's will work? Hmm, I might have to think about those then...

Appreciate it.

Actually looking like Nitto doesn't make the Terra Grappler G2's in size 315, only 305 or 325. The tire size conversion I'm using shows that a 325/65/18 is like a 34.6/12.8/18 in inches. Is that that extra width of .3 inches a problem, or is it immaterial?

If its 50/50 whether or not its a problem, I might just step down to the 305/65's. Thoughts?

Little clarification on the Bilstein shocks. I didn't realize there were 2 types. I want the 5100 adjustable heights shocks, right?
