Default 2wd tire size help

Will 285/75/16 fit without any rub on my 99 2wd f150 i have the 1.5 inch leveling kit installed on it.

Its possible but according to my guide it will rub. To run this size correctly you really need at least a 7.5" wide wheel, ideally an 8. Your stock wheels are only 7" wide. Also this tire is about 2.3" taller and 1.6" wider than the stock 245/75R16. I'd recommend a 265/75R16.

I have 16x8 rims that im going to install. so if i put the 285/75r16 on those rims will it not rub?

Thank you for the additional information.

The 285/75-16's will still rub so you will have to make some fender modifications but this size is approved for your 8" wide wheels If you want to avoid making modifications, run size 265/75-16.
