Default 20x9 vs 20x12 fuel wheels

Can someone show me the differences. I don't really know the differences I'm assuming the one is wider. Does that mean wider stance? And pictures? Does it affect handling? The wheels are deep dish.

it's a big difference, 3" ! It also changes the width of the tires you'll put on them, too.

The "stance", bro, will depend on the offset. Negative offset means that the wheel is "closer" to the truck, while a positive offset means that the wheel will stick out more (in very simplified terms). I'm almost certain there is a large Wheels & Tires section around here with a ton of pics and more detailed info. Wait, we ARE in the wheels & tires section. Well, scroll down and have at 'er !

Have fun reading through it all!

You have that backwards. A negative offset has a deeper lip and the tires are pushed out. OEM FX4 20s are +44 offset. I had them on my truck and they sat almost flush with the body. My "new" wheels are +30 offset. They stick out a bit. The trucks with the huge wheels pushed out are usually 12 or 14 wide with a large negative offset.

First off, what is your application? Is the truck leveled or lifted? What kind of stance do you want? There is a massive difference between a 20x12 and a 20x9 in any wheel make, it's not just exlusive to Fuel Offroad.

If you go with a 20x10 and a 0 offset you'll probably be around 2-3" outside the wheel wells. There's a dude running 20x10s with a -12 offset and he's 4" outside the wheel wells.

If you don't want it to be insane, go with the 20x9 with -12 offset.
