Default 2015 rim/tire upgrade question

New member and first-time post, so please forgive me if this has already been discussed (I HAVE searched the Forum looking for answers)...

I recently purchased a 2015 Plat and was told (at the dealer) that I could install a 2" level and be able to switch stock rims and tires for something more ranch friendly (I was looking at 18" rims and Toyo AT 2 295/70/18.)

Two reputable shops have informed me that the wheel/fender wells in the 2015 are smaller than older models and they would not try to squeeze in a tire larger than 32", even with trimming.

So, do I give up on wanting a 34-35" tire or keep looking for a shop with more experience / better advice (I am in Dallas).

I would prefer not to lift the vehicle significantly and was hoping that I could do this without complicating things too much.

A 2/2.5 level will let you fit 34/34 inch tires no issues. With the correct offset. They are WRONG. 35s can even fit with the correct setup.

Okay, I like what you guys are saying! But I need to figure out what I can fit. Seems 20" factory will fit 285/65/20, but I don't know what 18" factory tires till fit, or per the above inquiry, what you can fit with 18" aftermarket?

I don't have any advice on the 18's, but I can confirm what the other guys said. I have 20's with a 275/65r20 tire on it (34.07") and it fits fine. And I have a 2015 XLT.
