Default 2013 Ecoboost 275/65/20 Duratrac MPG

Had the duratracs put on a week ago, city driving I have lost around 1-1.5 mpg.

2013 Ecoboost Screw 157"- 3.31 gears - BDS 2.5 level.

Road trip is actually better than before on the same trip. This is coming back from western MN to the cities last night. 60 MPH set on cruise, slowing down while driving through small towns along the way.

No tuner, PCM is flashed for 275/55/20 (per the dealer) so actual miles is slightly higher.

Just changing the type of rubber should not cause a 3mpg drop?????

What am I missing?

Overall increase in diameter and circumference as well as an increase in weight. An uncorrected speedometer will also affect the calculations.

Weight, weight, and weight.

A lot more rolling resistance to overcome.

He went from a P-Metric (4 ply rating) to an LT-Metric (10 ply rating). Added 11lbs per tire, and they just don't roll as easy. On top of his leveling kit and really tall final drive, that is pretty typical.
