Looking to put some bigger tires on my stock rims. I will be putting on a 2" AS lift/level kit with AAL. What is the biggest width/height I can go on my stock 20" Rims without having to modify anything? Also I am stuck deciding between a few different tires. I love the look of the Nitto Trail Grappler M/T but they are a little more pricey, I am also considering the Nitto Terra Grapplers but I am not that impressed with the look of them. Also considering the Goodyear Duratracs as well. There are also a couple of Toyos that look pretty good. Any recommendations of which tire and size?!? Winter is coming fast and I need to put some new rubber on quick!

P275/60R20 is a good tire that won't ruin the ride quality or gas mileage to much if any at all and will fit just fine.

LT275/65R20 is about 34.5" tall and is probably the tallest you can fit and it still might require a little trimming. It will definitely be a rougher ride, how much depends on the tire but most people like a little former ride. They are also very heavy so expect at least a 2mpg loss I'd say.

There are also sizes like 285/55R20 and 295/55R20 but weird sizes like that cost an inordinate amount more than the more common sizes I have posted above, I recommend avoiding them for that reason alone.

I am leaning towards possibly the Nitto Trail Grappler M/T in 295/55/R20 as I found them for about $330/ea which seems to be cheaper than most of the other sizes. I would like the go 295/60/R20 for a little more height but cant justify the additional $40/ea. But I did find the Duratracs in 275/60/R20 for $208/ea which is really tempting. The Nittos seem to be sucking me in though.

Yeah, those weird sizes cost stupid amounts of money, and if you had a blowout or something goes wrong, you are going to have to special order the tire. You would be lucky if someone just keeps them in stock. I have some of those weird size Nittos in stock, but people with chevy's will pay stupid amounts of money for a tire that is barely bigger than stock.

The other sizes I mentioned are stock on Ram and Ford Super Dutys. These will always be in stock and are cheaper.
