Wondering if you guys can put your thoughts on which one is a better choice, and why?

Ive got the 4300. I always read that Sync has better bluetooth than Pioneer, so I just got the PAC msfrd1 and swi adapters. It works flawlessly. A side note, if u get the swi adapter u wont really need the lcd screen that comes with the PAC adapter

Also will the sync info be displayed on the small screen or the new hu?

I got the swi from PAC audio. The Sync info is displayed on the original truck's display. The only thing you will lose is the time, which will of course be displayed on your new HU. Still displays Ford Tough, compass, and all that. I would highly recommend using the adapters from PAC. I have been using mine for about 3 months, and am very pleased. pm me with any questions
