Default Wiring subs ohm load help

So I bought 2 pioneer dual voice coil 2 ohm subs 1400 watt peak 400watt rms

The amp I'm currently running is a 2ch 1000watt bridged at 4 ohm or 500watt per ch at 4ohms.

The specs say the amp is 2 ohm safe.

So my question is can a wire the new subs in a parallel circuit at 2ohms or do I have to run them in series at 4ohms?

Can't bridge the amp on a 2 ohm load. If the speakers are dual voice coils wire them 2 ohm to each channel.

Is each voice coil 2 ohms?

Thanks for the diagrams I don't know why I didn't bother to check 12volt.

What I'm still unsure about is my amp safe to run at 2ohms or can it only handle it for a short amount of time.

The specs of the amp only give 1000watts bridged at 4 ohms or 500 watts at 4 ohms.

So if I separately wire the subs at 2 ohms will the bridged channel handle it? Or am I better off wiring each sub at 4ohms to the separate channels.

I just want to get the most power out of my amp.

Whats the brand/model of the amp?

If it is in fact 2 ohm stable, you can wire each voice coil in series, then parallel that giving you 2 ohms at the amp.

which would look like this

Its probably only 2 ohm stable stereo and 4 ohm bridged. There aren't many amps that are 2 ohm bridged but they are out there. I'd wire the subs for a 4 ohm load for each and use the seperate channels on the amp (not bridged). If you try to wire the amp for a 2 ohm load bridged, the amp will probably go into overload protection and not turn on.

Thats what i was thinking so im gonna start looking for a new mono sub amp that can handle 2ohms no problem.
