The can is a car audio capacitor, google it for the right definition i don't want to be yield at for not describing it the right way. My buddy had one laying around so we install it. Is wired from the battery to the capacitor, and from capacitor to kicker unit. This will also help me conserve my car battery life. The sound signal is from the doors like everybody else.

At first I tried with just one and while it was much better it was not enough for my ears... With 2 you get more boom but still, not too loud, perfect!... The reason i went with this set up was because i just wanted to use the back space and keep my floor empty.

Theres gotta be a harness from stock radio to Rca. Not a fan of tapping into existing wiring. Anyone getting a pop or noise while turning on car? Rca is the way to go if anyone can help

You can get a LOC but the stock radio does NOT have RCA out. I have no issues with added noise except the "fake engine" sounds. :-)

HUGE thanks to Southpaw1227 for blazing the trail on this mod!!!!! I had a Sound Ordinance powered sub already, so I ordered a LOC and man, what a difference!!

Next up is an amp for the door speakers...and better door speakers as well.

i don't want to hijack your thread, but im trying just to amp my door speakers for now with a LOC off the 2016 Oem 8.0 touch, non sony, non navi radio. Does anyone know the colors on speaker wires behind the deck? They don't appear to match with whats in the doors. I want to run a 4 channel LOC behind deck then tap into speakers there, rather than run wire to each door. I cant find a color diagram on the wires behind deck.

ps, I love those kicker all in ones, they sound pretty good. Good info in this thread

You plan on cutting the factory harness?

Which is the best fuse to tie into? which fuse 23,36,37,38. i know the lc2i has auto turn on feature but in case i need a remote turn on which fuse to tie in?
Thanks
