Wiring questions 1997 Ext Cab w/ Premium P100 CD changer
I have been all over the boards and the net and have been unable to find the pinouts for the 16-pin molex connector for my factory radio.
Here's some of what I found:

What matches my radio is the top right, what they call the P100. I have the 6-disc cd changer in the armrest of the seat behind the driver, and the factory radio I removed has the 16-pin molex, 8-pin flat connector, and on the opposite side of the back of the radio, the antenna hookup. And I can see back inside the dash once I removed the radio the factory AMP. The model number of the radio is: F65F-19B165-BD
When I purchased my new radio, the "ford premium wiring kit" they supplied me had a 8-pin molex connector. I took it back along with my radio once I removed it and they (best buy) had no connector in their inventory or that they could order that would match the 16-pin molex.
I have been unable to even find pinouts for this connector. Tomorrow I will check one last audio place here in Anchorage to see if they have any information or a harness for it or else I'll have to cut the factory harness which I am loath to do, but my old radio is misbehaving and needs to be replaced.
I have a few questions:
1) Does anyone know where you can get a harness adapter for this style hookup?
2) Does anyone have any pinouts for the 16-pin molex connector? I found plenty of information on the 8-pin speaker connector, and for the more common 8-pin molex, but not the 16-pin.
3) Since I have a factory amp, and no intention of replacing it, on the new replacement radio I purchased (a Sony CDX-GT630UI), there are 2 sets of speaker connections. RCA connections they show going to amps, and off of their wiring harness, connections for straight to speakers.

My question is, since I have the factory amp, should I:
a)use RCA connections to the factory amp?
b)use the wiring harness connectors to the factory amp?
c)use the wiring harness connectors and utilize the amp bypass cable that came with the "ford premium wiring kit" to bypass the amp and go straight to the speakers from the radio?

Shimek's in Anchorage had 1 and only 1 of the proper 16-pin adapter left.
The kit came from Best Kits:

I talked to the installer there and he recommended placing a unit between the speaker out and the factory amp that would allow me to adjust the output levels.
I am going to use the speaker out to the amp so I don't have to chop up and solder some RCA connectors, and also because the truck is loud and I can probably use the additional volume boost. He said that would work as well.
Now to break out the heatshrink and soldering iron...
