I am installing a DVD/Navigation/Bluetooth aftermarket unit in my 2004 150 that needs to be hard wired into the fuse box (For some strange reason. This is the first time I've heard of direct wiring like that). What fuse in the fuse box do you guys think I should connect the wire to, to have the unit power on when the ignition is turned on? (I don't want to connect it to something that will have it contantly on. That will just kill my batt).

I just installed a alpine touchscreen in my 00 f150. and bought a wiring harness and plugged it into the factor harness and everything works as it should. I don't know why you would have to wire it to your fuse panel. as you have a constant hot and a hot with key on.

I guess I need to figure out exactly what wiring harness to get for my 04.
